Why "Tea Lover's Lane"?

People love to talk about your business “Why.”
Why this? Why now? Why at all?

Well… here’s mine.

There are so many fun products out there for coffee lovers. Mugs, shirts, quirky art prints that all celebrate the ritual, the personality and the the passion for coffee.

There's some cute stuff right? But if you’re a tea lover, you have to be thinking: Where are our things?

Where are the designs that celebrate tea not just as a drink, but as a culture and lifestyle? Tea is slow mornings, beautiful teacups, pausing for refection, cozy blankets, handwritten notes. It’s elegance and usefulness wrapped together in one daily ritual.

And that’s when the idea for Tea Lover’s Lane began to steep.

I set out to create artwork that celebrates both tea and the tea drinker: the dreamers, the hostesses, the collectors of lovely teapots, the friends who say, “Come in for a cuppa.”

Because tea has always been about beauty and usefulness, so I wanted to place tea-themed designs on things you actually use and enjoy: blankets to curl up with, home décor that brightens a corner, apparel that quietly says, “That's right: I’m a tea person.”

This collection is truly a labor of love, and I hope you feel that when you see it.
